Meet Jagger — a driven and community-minded senior whose passion for health, movement and service has shaped his journey at Michigan State University. Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Jagger is a Kinesiology major with a minor in Leadership in Integrated Learning. As a member of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the College of Education and a proud member of the Honors College, he brings together academic excellence and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. He is honored to represent Michigan State University on the 2026 Homecoming Court.
Jagger’s time at MSU has been defined by his dedication to health and human performance. Through his work in a research lab at IM Circle and his studies in kinesiology, he has developed a strong interest in sports medicine and biomechanics. He is especially passionate about advancing research on female athletes and advocating for equitable representation in science. These experiences have inspired his goal of pursuing an MD-PhD, specializing in orthopedic surgery, while integrating research and clinical care to support athletes of all levels.
Beyond the classroom, Jagger embraces the full Spartan experience — from workouts at IM Circle to cheering on the Green and White at Spartan Stadium and the Breslin Center. He values the sense of belonging and opportunity that MSU provides, recognizing it as a place where every student can explore their passions, build connections and find their purpose.
Looking ahead, Jagger hopes to combine his interests in medicine, research and global service by working with professional sports teams and with organizations like Doctors Without Borders. He is passionate about supporting underserved communities, exploring global healthcare systems and fostering cross-cultural connections through education and service.
Jagger’s favorite places on campus — IM Circle, Spartan Stadium and the Breslin Center — reflect both his academic journey and his Spartan pride. As a Homecoming Court representative, he is excited to connect with students, faculty and alums while serving as a role model who encourages others to pursue their goals with purpose and resilience.
