Who cares?
At MSU, you don’t have to look far to find out. Since the launch of the $4B Uncommon Will, Far Better World campaign, we’re already almost halfway to our goal.
This edition highlights what your support makes happen through our campaign goals and ambitions: Talent Activated, Futures Built and Synergies Imagined. We’ll meet young Spartan grads making their mark in marine biology, take a look at campus building projects, and learn how MSU researchers cross disciplines to break health care boundaries.
So much of what happens in East Lansing is made possible by your support and generosity. Volunteering, making a gift, attending a game watch or simply spreading the word about MSU—it all moves the needle.
Thank you for caring. Because if nobody cares, nothing gets done.

BREAD TRUCK BROADCAST
The story “Not a Bad Seat In The House” (Fall 2025) gave me goosebumps. Thinking about my time on campus, many nights were spent in Munn as part of a group of community volunteers that cablecast home MSU Hockey games on the local Public Access station.
With handshake cooperation from Athletic Director Doug Weaver, Sports Information Director Nick Vista and Coach Ron Mason, we would roll our converted bread truck into the loading dock and set up for the game. Using three cameras, we captured the action on large video cassette tapes and rushed them back to the station on Trowbridge after each period for our delayed showing. Our team consisted of staff, students and community members, all striving to deliver the best possible product.
Thanks for the memories and the vision of the future. Go Green!
