Meet Caroline Beckrow — a compassionate, community-oriented senior from Stevensville, Michigan, whose journey through MSU has been filled with purpose, gratitude and exploration. Majoring in Human Biology and Social Relations & Policy, Caroline is a proud member of the Honors College, James Madison College and Lyman Briggs College. With a unique blend of scientific curiosity and a deep commitment to social justice, she is honored to represent Michigan State University on the 2025 Homecoming Court.

Caroline’s time at MSU has been defined by meaningful experiences inside and outside of the classroom. As a member of the Osteopathic Medical Scholars Program, she is passionate about public health, equitable healthcare access and building strong, reciprocal community partnerships. In the future, she hopes to attend medical school, specialize in oncology and serve on a community health board to help advance public health initiatives at the local level.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Caroline has made lifelong memories in the MSU Marching Band and Campus Bands and remains a fierce supporter of Spartan athletics and arts. She credits much of her growth to MSU’s Living-Learning Communities and education abroad opportunities, which broadened her worldview and inspired a life of service and global engagement.

One of Caroline’s favorite places on campus is the Beal Botanical Garden where she finds joy in watching the seasons change, reading in the sunshine and admiring the spring tulips at the reflecting pool. As a Homecoming Court representative, she hopes to help others feel seen, safe and empowered while spotlighting the resources and communities that have shaped her Spartan experience.

As we each walk our unique paths, I encourage us to lead with kindness and open-mindedness — with our Spartan Will to make the world a better place. It is an honor to serve this community and to help open doors for future generations.
