SPARTAN ALUMNUS HELPS FOUND GREAT LAKES CHAPTER OF US-MEXICO CHAMBER COMMERCE

Clayton & McKervey, an international certified public accounting and business advisory firm located in metro Detroit, announceD that Timothy Finerty CPA, a shareholder at the firm, is a founding board member of the newest chapter of the United States - Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC), the Great Lakes Chapter, based in Detroit. 

Finerty is the practice leader for Mexico and Latin America at Clayton & McKervey and specializes in Mexican and Latin American tax and accounting issues. That  includes entity structure, transfer pricing and exchange rates.

He also advises small and midsized growth-driven businesses in the manufacturing, system integrators, distribution and service-related industries to help them achieve their global expansion plans. 

Finerty earned a bachelor's degree in the MSU Eli Broad College of Business in 1994.

The May launch announcement was made by the Honorable Juan Manuel Solana, Consul General of Mexico in Detroit, and Al Zapanta, CEO and President of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, in Troy.
