Randall Rupp, a 1982 graduate from the College of Business, is no stranger to the corporate ladder. Today, he is the CEO of Rehmann, a regional accounting and financial services firm, headquartered in Troy. But 35 years ago, he started at the company as an intern.

Rehmann employs more than 800 associates in Michigan, Ohio and Florida, is ranked as the 30th largest firm in the United States. It was also just named as the top public accounting firm for women for the fourth year in a row.

Throughout his career, Rupp has developed a high skill set in proactive tax planning for corporations, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and limited liability companies. In addition to serving as the CEO, Rupp is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and manages the firm’s internal real estate affairs. His incredible story demonstrates that through hard work one can start from the bottom and work all the way up the ladder.
