Todd (TJ) Duckett and his brother Tico Duckett returned to their high school for the Loy Norrix vs. Kalamazoo Central High School Football Game. Giants and Knights Alumni and former KPS football players, the brothers served as ambassadors for the Cancer Awareness cross-town rivalry contest.

On September 9, the Duckett brothers donned pink Varsity Team jerseys symbolic of breast cancer awareness, and light blue reflective of gynecological cancers. All JV football team members were adorned with t-shirts with the years of anticipated graduation on the back and the unifying Kalamazoo City scape on the front. Todd and Tico Duckett were joined by their father, Ted Duckett, to celebrate their mother who died in 200 of cancer.

T.J. Duckett was the lead running back for the MSU Spartans in 1999-2001 and drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2002. He has played in the NFL for various teams, including the Detroit Lions, until 2008.
